I paint from photos using acrylics and a lot of water. I draw very little on the canvas and use large brushes. The mood of the day, the light and the subject matter will move my hand to mix the paints on the palette and canvas to create the painting. Sometimes I will finish a painting in a couple hours, sometimes it takes a year to get it right. I like to paint in pure daylight, which we have a lot of in southern California...
Please check out my prints as they are a very affordable option [as low as $8.00] and we offer paypal as a payment option. You can also buy giclees on the website under the "go to frame shop" option by selecting "canvas". The giclees look just like the original painting, but cost just a fraction of the price. The only thing the giclee lacks is the texture of the paint of the original.
